About the institution
The Museum für Gegenwartskunst shows contemporary art from the holdings of the Kunstmuseum Basel and the Emanuel Hoffmann-Stiftung. In changing presentations, the works engage in close dialogue with an exhibition agenda that encompasses group and solo exhibitions of international and current artistic positions. The Museum für Gegenwartskunst is a place of dialogue, a laboratory for a variety of contemporary art productions and practice.
