About the institution
With 60,000 drawings and watercolours, 250,000 prints and engravings, the Kupferstichkabinett of the Kunstmuseum Basel is not only the biggest in Switzerland, but also houses one of the world's most important collections of its kind. Highlights are works by the Holbein family, Cézanne and 20th-century artists.
